RadialFX — End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you", "Licensee") and the Licensor for the RadialFX software plug-in for Adobe After Effects, including the installer, the compiled plug-in (.aex), the CEP extension, and any updates or documentation (collectively, the "Software"). By installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and payment of the applicable fee, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the current major version (v1.x) of the Software for your own commercial or personal work.

Activations: one purchased license permits activation on up to two (2) devices (e.g., a desktop and a laptop) for the same individual user. You may move an activation between your own devices using the in-app "Deactivate this device" function.
Perpetual: the license does not expire. See §6 for the upgrade policy regarding future major versions.

2. Free trial

The Software offers a 14-day free trial with full functionality, beginning on first launch, with no payment or account required. When the trial ends, tool execution is disabled until a valid license is activated; your settings are preserved. The trial is intended for evaluation on the trialing individual's own machine.

3. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit any third party to:

copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Software, or share your license key beyond your own permitted activations;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or circumvent the licensing, activation, or anti-tamper mechanisms of the Software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
remove or alter any proprietary notices; or
use the Software to develop a competing product.

4. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. The Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in this Agreement.

5. Updates

Minor and patch updates within the current major version (v1.x) are provided free. Updates may modify or remove features. This Agreement governs all updates unless an update is accompanied by a separate license.

6. Future major versions (V2 upgrade policy)

This Software is licensed for the current major version (v1.x). The Licensor's major-version upgrade policy is set out in the Terms & Refund Policy and is presented at checkout. In summary: customers who purchased within the 12 months preceding a new major version (e.g., v2.0) release receive that major upgrade free; earlier customers may upgrade at a reduced price. (This policy is a binding commitment made at the point of sale.)

7. System requirements

The Software requires Adobe After Effects 2025 or later on Windows. Earlier versions and macOS are not supported. You are responsible for confirming compatibility; the 14-day trial exists for this purpose.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL WORK WITH ALL CONFIGURATIONS OF AFTER EFFECTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR PROJECT WORK, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE. THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE. (Always back up your After Effects projects; the Software automates editing actions and you remain responsible for your work.)

10. Privacy

The Software's data handling (machine-bound license validation, etc.) is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

11. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and uninstall the Software. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Mexico (Nuevo León), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Note: purchases are processed by Freemius, Inc. as Merchant of Record; Freemius's terms also apply to the transaction itself — see Terms & Refund Policy.)

13. Entire agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Refund Policy, is the entire agreement between you and the Licensor regarding the Software.
